Understanding Truv's required and optional fields ensures smooth, accurate, and efficient order processing.
Below is a breakdown of the required and optional fields:
Required Fields:

products: Specify the desired product(s). For example: income and employment, employment history, direct deposit etc.

first_name and last_name: The applicant's first and last names.
- email and phone: The applicant's contact information. Enter either an email and/or mobile phone number for Truv to send notifications to the applicant. If left blank, you will need to manually share the Truv verification link.
- in case of direct deposit : the fields are located under the account object inside the employers object.
- account_number & routing_number: Enter the account information where the income data should be directed to.
- bank_name: Specify the name of the bank associated with the account
Optional Fields:

ssn: The applicant's Social Security Number (either full 9 digits or last 4 digits). Providing this allows Truv to verify the SSN against payroll records.

employers: A list of known employers, specified by company name. Including this ensures that only the specified employments are verified. If left blank, the applicant will need to select their employer(s) manually during the process.
