Why Can’t I Refresh a VOE Order into a VOIE?

Summary of Capabilities

  • VOIE to VOE (Allowed): If your initial order was a full Verification of Income and Employment (VOIE), you can easily run a refresh later to get a quick Verification of Employment (VOE).
  • VOE to VOIE (Not Allowed): If your initial order was only a basic Verification of Employment (VOE), you cannot refresh it to pull income data. You must create a brand-new order.

What You Need to Do

If you accidentally sent a VOE request but actually need income verification:

  1. Do not click refresh on the existing order.
  2. Click Create Order to start a brand-new request.
  3. Select VOIE (Income & Employment) as the product type.
  4. Send the verification request. A new link will be sent to the client automatically, or you can copy and share the URL directly with them so they can authorize the full income data pull.
