What are Task Statuses?

Task statuses offer more detailed insights into your client's verification journey compared to the broader Order statuses. You can view these under Activity > Tasks.

Common Task Statuses and Their Meanings:

  • Done: The client has successfully connected their employers.
  • Pending: The verification for a particular employer is awaiting completion.
  • Login error: Indicates an incorrect login and/or password.
  • MFA error: An incorrect multi-factor authentication (MFA) code was entered. Re-confirm the email/SMS associated with the payroll account.
  • Config error: This points to an incorrect organization ID, URL, or sub-domain. Confirm that the credentials are correct.
  • Unable to reset credentials: The user either doesn't know the reset criteria (like a username) or has exceeded the number of reset attempts.
  • Account locked: The number of attempts with incorrect credentials has been exceeded, which varies by payroll provider.
  • Unsupported: The payroll provider is not supported by Truv.
  • Unavailable: The provider is undergoing maintenance and is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
  • No data: There is no data or not enough data in the provider to be retrieved.
  • Generic error: An unexpected error occurred while parsing the data.
