How to Verify Income Using the Smart Routing Bank Income Path

If connecting via the Payroll Path is not successful or available, Truv Smart Routing will guide the applicant to the Bank Income Path.

Steps for Bank Income Verification:

  1. Employer Selected: The screen displays the employer for which income is being verified (e.g., McDonalds).
  2. Link Bank: The applicant is asked to link the bank where they get paid. This method uses "best-in-class security" and does not access account numbers.
  3. Select Financial Institution: The applicant can search for or select their primary financial institution from the Truv network of over 13,000 institutions (e.g., Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo).
  4. Log In to Financial Institution: The applicant is redirected to their bank's sign-in portal to authenticate.
  5. Success: After successful authentication, the bank income verification is complete.
