How to Use Truv: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Find Your Invitation
Your case worker has sent you a personalized invitation. You can find it in two places:
- Email: Look for an email with the subject line: "{Your First Name}, {Our Agency Name} would like to verify your income." Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox.
- Text Message (SMS): Look for a text from the number (415) 792-4449 containing a secure link.
Step 2: Click the Secure Link
Click the link in either the email or text message to begin. The link is unique to you.
Step 3: Log In to Your Payroll System
You will be taken to the Truv portal.
- Your employer’s login page may appear automatically.
- If not, simply use the search bar to find your employer or payroll provider (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.).
- Enter the same username and password you use to log in to your work account to view your paystubs online.
Step 4: You're All Done!
After you successfully log in, you will see a confirmation screen with confetti. That's it! Truv will securely send the necessary information to us, and you don't need to do anything else.
