How to Use Password Managers with Truv on Mobile Devices

This guide explains how to use password managers (PMs) to auto-fill login fields when completing a Truv verification on a mobile device. Password managers securely store encrypted logins and allow for quick auto-filling of credentials.

Steps:

  1. Select your payroll provider/employer: On the Truv screen, choose your payroll provider or employer from the list (e.g., ADP, Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot).
  2. Access saved credentials: Select "Passwords" to view your list of saved credentials.
  3. Auto-fill login fields:
    • Your password manager will likely prompt you to use a saved password for the current website (e.g., "Use the password for 'ADP' with 'truv.com'?").
    • You can choose "Use Password Once" or "Use & Add Website" if you want to save the association.
    • The User ID and Password fields will then be automatically populated with your saved credentials.
  4. Sign in: Once the fields are auto-filled, proceed to sign in to your payroll provider.
