How to Update a Borrower's Email Address for Active Orders

Once a verification order is sent, the email address cannot be edited due to security and audit restrictions.

To fix a mistyped or outdated email address, follow these three steps:

  1. Cancel the Active Order: Find the pending order in your Truv Encompass instance and cancel the order.
  2. Update the Loan Level: Go into your Encompass loan client file, fix the email address, and save changes.
  3. Send a New Order: Create and dispatch a fresh verification request using the updated email.
