How to Manage Your Notification Preferences in the Truv Dashboard

The Truv Dashboard allows you to fully customize how and where you receive updates regarding verification orders, team movements, and technical API keys. These configuration options ensure you stay updated on critical account activity through your preferred channels without cluttering your inbox.

Note: These settings apply specifically to your individual account across every organization you belong to in Truv.

Accessing Notification Settings
  1. Log into your Truv Dashboard.
  2. On the left-hand navigation sidebar, scroll down to the Settings dropdown menu.
  3. Select Notifications.
Configuring Notification Types

Truv splits alerts into distinct categories. For most alerts, you can choose to receive updates via Email, directly inside the Dashboard, or both by checking the corresponding boxes.

1. Orders

  • Order updates: Receive an alert when a verification order you created (or were added to) is completed, expires, or undergoes any other status change.
  • Automatically created orders: Get notified when an order is automatically generated in an integrated system like ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass via ASO (Automated Service Ordering), and your user profile is designated as a recipient.
  • Refreshes requiring reconnection: Get an immediate notice when a refreshed or re-run order requires the end-user/borrower to securely reconnect their payroll or financial accounts.

2. Team

  • Members pending approval: Essential for managers and administrators. This triggers a notification whenever a new team member requests to join your Truv Dashboard organization and requires your administrative approval.

3. API

  • Production keys: A crucial alert for developers and administrators. Get notified instantly anytime a production API environment key is issued, modified, or rotated to ensure platform security.

Dashboard Popups & Saving Changes

At the bottom of the notifications interface, you can toggle live dashboard alerts:

  • Show notification popups: Checking this box ensures that enabled updates actively slide into view as popup banners while you are browsing different pages inside the Truv Dashboard.

Once you have checked your preferred channels for each category, click the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen to lock in your settings.
