Re‑generate vs Re‑verify for VOA in Encompass — What’s the difference?

Two ways to create another VOA report in Encompass. Terminology: Re‑verify = Refresh · Re‑generate = Generate new report

Re‑verify (Refresh)

• What it does: Pulls the latest data now and creates a new VOA report.

• You can choose: Accounts and Days Requested.

• Borrower connection: May be required if MFA expired or the connection needs re‑auth.

• Best for: Fast, full refresh with the most current balances/transactions.

Re‑generate (Generate new report)

• What it does: Starts a new report run using the existing loan connections; keeps the original order intact.

• You can choose: Accounts and Days Requested.

• Borrower connection: Not required; uses existing connection/data (no borrower action).

• Best for: Producing an additional report variant (different subset/date window) without involving the borrower.
