My payroll provider can only be access via VPN/intranet, how do I connect?

If your employer requires a VPN or intranet connection to access your payroll provider, you can still use Truv—as long as you can successfully connect through your work computer or use Truv's AppClip solution.

To proceed:

  • Use your work computer while connected to the required VPN or internal network.

  • Or you may also use the Truv App Clip on your device if applicable, as it offers a quick and secure way to access the payroll provider without accessing your employer's VPN

If you're unable to access your payroll provider—even with VPN access or an App Clip—you will not be able to complete the process through Truv. In that case, please inform your lender or screener. They will verify your income and/or employment using alternative methods.
