# How do I reset my password or recover my account?

## Resetting your Truv password ensures secure access to your account, protects your data, and resolves login issues quickly.

To reset your Truv account password or recover your account, follow these steps:

1. **Initiate Password Reset**:
   
     - On the [Truv login](https://dashboard.truv.com/login) page, enter your email address and click continue. On the next page, select **"Forgot your password?"** to proceed with resetting your password.
2. **Follow Email Instructions**:
   
     - You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password.
     - Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password.
