# How Do I Cancel an Order?

## This guide explains how to cancel an order in Truv via the Truv Dashboard, including locating the order, using the cancel option, and understanding order expiration rules.

To cancel an order in **Truv**, follow these steps:

1. **Access the Truv Dashboard**:
   
     - Log in to your **Truv Dashboard**.
2. **Locate the Specific Order**:
   
     - Navigate to the **Orders** section.
     - Find and select the order you wish to cancel.
3. **Cancel the Order**:
   
     - Click on the **cancel icon** associated with the selected order.

**Important Notes**:

- Orders will **automatically expire** based on the **order expiration days** set in the template used to create the order.
- Once an order expires, borrowers will **no longer receive notifications** related to that order.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage and cancel orders within the Truv platform.
