Encompass Smart Client imposes a limitation: when a loan is open, it transitions to a 'locked' status, preventing Truv from writing into it. This includes uploading documents into the Truv UI within Encompass or into the eFolder.
This restriction applies to Encompass Smart Client. When a loan is in a locked status, Encompass automatically attempts to write into the loan every 15 minutes for a duration of 24 hours.
If your processors encounter the 'locked' status, Truv recommends verifying that no one else has the loan open, closing the loan, waiting for 20 minutes, and then accessing it again.
