If you receive an incorrect username or password message when logging in to your company's portal or payroll provider, please reset your credentials.
Please note that Truv does not manage the IT systems of your previous or current employer or payroll provider.
If you're unable to reset your credentials, please follow the steps below:
- If you're verifying employment history, inform your background screener that you were unable to verify your employment through Truv, and they will use a different process.
- If you're verifying income, inform your lender or property management company that you're unable to verify through Truv, and they will use a different process.
- If you're switching direct deposit accounts, inform your financial institution that you were unable to switch accounts through Truv, and they will use a different process.
If you encounter an unusual message when trying to reset your username or password, please reach out to your payroll system support.
